My pdf Joomla Security guide has been slightly changed to depict some corrections and additions.
I soon plan on releasing a full 3 month Joomla optimization program, free for all subscribers
A new site will be available very soon. It will be the basis for the new help and automatic updates sytems.
It will also provide a much faster and much easier to navigate interface.
The new site that will be published soon, will fully support microformats and dublin core semantic formating of information.
This will include vCards, hReviews and hCalendars
Version 3 of D Calendar will also be fully compatible with hCalendar and iCal
The class suffix is finally added in the dev Version 3.
I hope to have a first beta of the Lite (or Basic) version really soon.
On the left you can see the finalized HTML of the new version of the Calendar
It now works with all modern browsers, is fully W3C compliant and uses many new features to make it as light for the client's and the server's cpu.
Care has also been given to minimize server queries and allow it to integrate easily with Cloud storage of static elements.
The new version will allow full configuration of the style and the template using simple controls, allowing even users wtihout web design experience to fully adjust it to fit their site.
I have implemented the ability to select the first day of the week for the dev version of v3 of D calendar.
I will soon have a new alpha version released for testing and early adopting.
Hopefully v3 will soon be ready after a long wait
I am now working full speed on the new version.
A big development is that fact that the calendar is now fully Ajax powered and its functionality has been split between a module and component.
This new component will eventually host all the new functionality that I am planning.
