The new version of D Calendar is ready.

It started as a fix for version 1.1.3, but since the changes would have been big, I thought I would re-write everything to allow me to integrate some of the new feature I' ve been planning. Since the code is completely re-written and the features are rather big, I thought that moving to version 2 was rather appropriate.

The biggest change (as you can see on the right) is the support for three view modes. The first one is the regular month view (like on the left).

As always, this is a nice generic view, suitable for most needs.

The second one is the 2-month month view, like on the module on the right. This view should be particularly nice for pages where you want to display events or time-lines, offering a nice overview of your calendars.

The last one (and my favorite) is the week view, like below. It is small and convenient, so that you can squeeze it anywhere you want.

Combine that with the new ability to render the calendar anywhere you want on the page, and you just got a very nice generic control to include inside your articles, components, templates, other modules, or wherever you want.

Version 2.0 (although still in RC status, just in case) has many many more improvements. For the latest ones, check the download link.
